Each of us lives in our own little world
With dreams and sorrows that most
will never see
Or begin to grasp
beyond what we share in action
The universal predicament
each being confined to our own minds
must be contented with life being what we make of it
For the sake of it, none of us knowing about the other
The other knowing that nobody knows
Yet...
Even if I ignore you, we are still connected
In your dark sea of despair, I share the same ground as you.
We eat, we sleep, we breathe, we both need human connection
Society is the sum of us, all struggling together to remember
That the world is made of all of us, and through our sharing we are one.
